Applications to Volunteering Programs in Italy are opened for International students. International Volunteer Program offers activities that will take place in Agorateca,which is managed by an Altamura community library since June 2019.
Volunteering Program is occurring in one of the most beautiful place Agorateca in Italy, where every facility is provided. Workshops, seminars and many activities for children are conducted. There is also a garden for people, children and adults where they can freshen their mind and body.

The garden can be maintained by residents of the neighborhood as well as all library patrons. Activities such as creative recycling, greenhouse construction, and street furniture are being established in the garden in order to establish a small park for city children.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Young persons aged 18 to 30.
- Candidate who are legally residing in one of the participating or partner countries and have registered on the European Solidarity Corps Portal.
- People who have already completed an individual ESC are also eligible to apply.
- Two young Italians and eight participants from EU countries will make up this group.

Accommodation, food and transport:
- Altamura’s volunteers’ flat is located in the city centre.
- The flat contains a living room, a communal bathroom, and a large kitchen where the volunteers can cook their own meals.
- The property has its own heating system and washing machine.
- The volunteers will share a room. The volunteers are responsible for the house, as well as all of the furniture and items in it. The volunteer is accountable.
