CERN Administrative Student Program 2021-22
Political Affairs Internship will last for 6 months. This internship is unpaid and applicant will stay in Geneva for 6 months until the internship ends. In the supervision of staff person or senior worker, Internees will work for 5 days in a week and complete the assigned task.
What will be your Responsibilities?
- Your responsibilities will include conducting research and drafting of official documents.
- Applicant needs to Assists on treaty-related matters, such as the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons, the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban, Cluster Munitions, and the Rights of Persons with Disabilities;
- Assists on other relevant policy matters, such as the use of explosive weapons in conflict;
- Applicant will also assists on policy matters, such as the use of explosive weapons;
- Assists the Inter-Agency Working Group on Mine Action in its work;
- Assists the office’s engagement with the humanitarian community;
- Assists the team with day-to-day activities, such as administration and communications;
- Assists with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Eligibility Criteria:
Following is the eligibility criteria:
Education:
- Applicant must be a graduate student or must be enrolled in graduate programme.
- Applicant must have completed the final academic year of a first university degree programme It could be bachelor’s degree.
- be a computer literate.
Work Experience:
- No experience required for Political Affairs Internship.
Other Requirements:
- Applicant must be proficient in English and French Language.
It will be advantage for applicant, If Applicant has Knowledge of Arabic, Chinese, English, French language.
