Criteria:

• Age Requirements:
  • You must be 18 years old when starting your scholarship.
  • If you’re 17, make sure to turn 18 before starting in semester one.
  • The maximum age limit is 40 years.
• Work Experience Requirements:
  • Work experience can be paid, unpaid, or voluntary.
  • Either one year of full-time work (30+ hours per week) or two years of part-time work (up to 29 hours per week) is required.
• English Language Requirements for Successful Applicants:
  • Only selected students need an English language test.
  • Accepted scores:
    • IELTS 6.0 is required with 5.5 bands
    • TOEFL: 80 on the internet-based test, with a writing score of 21
    • PTE Academic: 50, with no communication skills score less than 42
    • Cambridge Academic English169 is required with 162 bands.
• Manaaki NZ Scholarship Support:
  • Covers the cost of the Language Test.
  • Arranges the test for applicants from the following countries:
