Eligibility Criteria of the Kaohsiung Medical University Scholarship:

• International students must adhere to the regulations pertaining to international students studying in Taiwan and are eligible to apply.
• A robust academic track record is required.
• Overseas Chinese students, including those from Hong Kong and Macao, can choose to apply either through the University Entrance Committee for Overseas Chinese Students or directly through KMU.
• Students from Mainland China are required to apply via the University Entrance Committee designated for Mainland Chinese Students.
• Applicants with permanent residence in Hong Kong or Macao, or who have resided there for over 6 years, are eligible to apply.
• For the School of Medicine/School of Dentistry, individuals with permanent residence in Hong Kong or Macao, or who have resided there for more than 8 years, can apply.

Undergraduate Program:

A senior high school diploma is required.

School of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine:

A Bachelor’s degree or higher is necessary.

Master’s Program:

A Bachelor’s degree or higher is a prerequisite.

Ph.D. Program:

A Master’s degree or higher is mandatory.
