CERN Summer Student Program 2025 in Switzerland

The fully funded CERN Summer Student Program is open to applicants from all countries, with no application fee and no IELTS requirement. This program lasts 8 to 13 weeks and is open to Bachelor’s and Master’s students, including those graduating by the European summer of 2025 (as of May).  This is one of Europe’s top summer programs, and CERN will cover all expenses.

Scholarship Value/ Inclusions for CERN Summer Student Program 2025 in Switzerland -:

  • An 8 to 13-week contract to work on a technical project.
  • A physics lecture program, plus extra IT lectures from Openlab.
  • A daily allowance of 93 CHF (after tax) to cover accommodation and meals in Geneva for the duration of the contract.
  • A travel allowance to help with the cost of traveling between Geneva and your home (if applicable).
  • Full health insurance coverage through CERN, with the cost already deducted from the allowance.
  • Help with finding accommodation on or near the CERN site.

Eligibility Criteria for CERN Summer Student Program 2025 in Switzerland -:

  • Open to students of all nationalities
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics
  • Must have completed at least 6 semesters
  • Eligible if graduating by European summer of 2025 (in May or later)
  • Good knowledge of English required
