The USTC Fellowship offers financial support for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students at different levels:

Undergraduate Programs:

  • Scholarship Type 1: Provides a tuition waiver, medical insurance, an accommodation allowance, and a monthly stipend of 2,500 RMB.
  • Scholarship Type 2: Covers only the tuition fees.

Master’s Programs:

  • Scholarship Type 1: Includes a tuition waiver, medical insurance, an accommodation allowance, and a monthly stipend of 3,000 RMB.
  • Scholarship Type 2: Covers tuition fees and offers financial support for teaching or research assistant roles.

Doctoral Programs:

Eligibility Criteria:

To apply for USTC scholarships, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Citizenship and Passport: International student can apply
  • Health: Be in good health.
  • Educational Qualifications:
    • For undergraduate programs: High school diploma.
    • For master’s programs: Have a bachelor’s degree.
    • For doctoral programs: Have a master’s degree.
  • Pre-graduation Certificate: If still studying, provide a certificate confirming the degree will be completed before the scholarship starts.
  • Age Limits:
    • Undergraduate programs: Under 30 years old.
    • Master’s programs: Under 35 years old.
    • Doctoral programs:
      • Level A: Under 35 years old.
      • Level B: Under 45 years old.
  • Language Requirements:
    • Undergraduate programs: Must pass HSK Level 5 or higher.
