#1 Science International Scholarships

Science International Scholarships are available for both undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs and are open to those studying within a range of fields, including Agriculture and Animal Sciences, Environment, Health and Medicine, as well as Science and Mathematics. The primary focus of these scholarships is to recognize and reward academic excellence, with each scholarship valued at $5,000 and granted for a duration of one year. The number of Science International scholarships awarded may vary each year. The application deadline is January 2024.

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for this scholarship opportunity, you must meet the following conditions:

  1. You must be an international student.
  2. You should be starting your first semester at the University of Queensland (UQ).

Applications open on 7th August 2023, and aspiring scholars should submit their applications before the deadline of 24th November 2023 to be considered for this prestigious scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria:

You can apply if:

  1. You got a really high score in your Year 12 exams, at least 99.90 or something similar.
  2. You finished Year 12 in either 2022 or 2023 (if you took a year off after high school).
  3. You’re an Australian citizen or have an Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa.
  4. You’re an Australian Permanent Resident, New Zealand Citizen, or an international student who studied Year 11 and 12 in Australia.
  5. Not have gone to college before, except if it was part of your high school studies (like an Enhanced Studies Program).
  6. Have applied for a college spot through QTAC and put UQ as your top choice by December 18, 2023.
  7. Plan to be a full-time college student at UQ in 2024 (or in 2025 if you’re taking a break from college).
