Benefits of Colombia Government Scholarships:

You will receive a monthly grant equal to three times the minimum monthly salary set by Colombian law.
The scholarship program covers 100% of the tuition fees.
Stipend for books and materials. A grant of $500,000 to assist you in purchasing books and materials.

Eligibility Criteria for Colombia Government Scholarship:

To be eligible for the Colombia Government Scholarships, candidates must meet the following requirements:

International students can apply.
Candidates should not hold Colombian nationality and should not have dual nationality (Colombian). They should also not be currently residing in Colombia.
The age should not be over 50 years.
Candidates should possess a professional or bachelor’s degree.
Candidates should have an excellent academic background and have an average grade of 4.0 out of 5.0 or its equivalent on the Colombian scale to be eligible for the scholarship.
Candidates must have obtained admission to at least one graduate program listed in the Catalog of Academic Offer for the General Call of 2024
All required documents must be sent physically to the ICETEX offices in Bogotá, specifically at Carrera 3 No 18-32.
Candidates are allowed to submit up to three letters of admission from the universities.
Copies of the required documents, whether authenticated or notarized, are accepted. Original documents are not required.

Foreign candidates should carefully review the scholarship’s call for applications and ensure that they submit only the requested documents to ICETEX.
