Eligibility Criteria for University of Geneva Excellence Masters Fellowships 2025
To be eligible for the University of Geneva Excellence Masters Fellowships, candidates must satisfy the following criteria:
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English or French is required.
- Eligible Countries: Candidates from all countries worldwide are eligible to apply. Irrespective of your originating university, whether you have completed or are currently excelling in a bachelor’s program, And if you rank among the top performers in your academic year, this program is tailored for you!
- Candidates must fulfill the admission requirements of their chosen Master’s program and undergo selection based on their application dossier for an Excellence Fellowship.
How to Apply?
To apply, follow the steps outlined on the Admissions Office website.
You’ll need to provide a scan of your UNIGE card, or if you’re not a UNIGE student yet, the email called “UNIGE-Application: Submission of your application” that you got after signing up for the Master program (this proves you’ve started the enrollment process).
Your application, either in English or French, should be in one PDF file and include:
- A scan of your ID card or passport.
- CV (no more than 2 pages).
- Your bachelor’s exam transcript with grades.
- A letter explaining why you want to study this specific Master’s program at the University of Geneva.
- If possible, letters of recommendation from two professors (they can send these directly to Excellence-Master-Sciences@unige.ch).
- Any other relevant information, like GRE or TOEFL scores.
You’ll apply online starting in January each year. Once you register, you’ll get an email with a link to fill out the application form.
