Applications are now open for the PolyU Hong Kong International Summer School 2025! This fully funded program offers students from all over the world to join a two-week summer experience at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Open to both Bachelor’s and Master’s students, the program will take place from June 29 to July 10, 2025. Participants will have the chance to learn from PolyU professors, connect with fellow students, explore research labs, take part in cultural activities, and discover opportunities for future PhD studies at PolyU.
The International Research Summer School (IRSS) is a top-tier, two-week program designed for exceptional international students exploring PhD opportunities. How to Apply for PolyU Hong Kong International Summer School 2025?
Step 1:
- Fill out the online application form and submit it by February 28, 2025.
- After submission, you will receive an email with a payment link for the application fee and a link to upload documents.
Step 2:
- Pay the application fee online.
- Student will receive an official receipt via email.
Step 3:
- Upload the required documents in English as one single PDF file (under 10 MB) within 2 days of submitting the application form.
- The documents include:
- Latest Bachelor’s and Master’s (if applicable) transcripts showing GPA or class ranking, along with an explanation of the grading system. If the GPA is not on a 4.0 scale, an official proof of class ranking is recommended.
- Bachelor’s degree certificate (only for Master’s students).
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) detailing academic achievements, research experience, extracurricular activities, and internships/exchanges.
- Application letter explaining research experience, strengths, future goals, research interests, reasons for applying, and expected benefits from the program.
- English language test scores (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.), if available.
- Certificates of international or national achievements (if applicable).
- Recent passport-size photo (see requirements [HERE]).
- Official receipt of application fee payment issued by PolyU’s Finance Office.
