1- HAN NL Scholarship (formerly HAN Holland Scholarship)
This scholarship provides €2,500 in the first semester and €2,500 in the second semester. After the first year, you can receive €2,500 annually for the next three years of your study, provided you earn the required 45 credits each year.
The HAN NL Scholarship offers financial support of up to €12,500 to help international students from outside the EU/EEA cover their study expenses at HAN University of Applied Sciences. 2- Honors Scholarship
The Honors Scholarship is awarded differently. There’s no need to apply; the academic board of the study program selects students with outstanding academic results in their first year. Eligible students are those who meet the minimum requirements but did not receive the HAN NL Scholarship. The scholarship starts with a payment of €2,500 in the second year and continues with €2,500 each subsequent year, provided you earn the required 45 credits annually.
The Honors Scholarship provides up to €7,500 in funding for non-EU/EEA students who are already enrolled at HAN but did not receive any scholarship during their first year of study. This award is intended to recognize and reward students who have demonstrated excellent academic performance and active participation in their studies, encouraging them to continue excelling throughout their degree program.
For Masters Students:
1- HAN NL Scholarship
For master’s students, the HAN NL Scholarship provides financial assistance of up to €5,000 to support talented and ambitious students from outside the EU/EEA in pursuing their studies at HAN University of Applied Sciences. This scholarship aims to ease the financial burden and attract highly motivated individuals to the Netherlands for their postgraduate education.

Eligibility Criteria for HAN University Scholarships in Netherlands:
- – You are a citizen of a non-EU/EEA country.
- – You have not obtained a degree from a Dutch educational institution.
- – You have not previously been enrolled in a degree program at a Dutch university or university of applied sciences.
- – You have been accepted into a full-time English-taught degree program at HAN.
- – You have an IELTS score of at least 6.5, a TOEFL iBT score of at least 90, or a Cambridge Certificate (CAE or CPE).
