Benefits of Colombia Government Scholarships:

1- You will receive a monthly grant equal to three times the minimum monthly salary set by Colombian law.

Eligibility Criteria for Colombia Government Scholarship:

To be eligible for the Colombia Government Scholarships, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1- International students can apply.
2- Candidates should not hold Colombian nationality and should not have dual nationality (Colombian). They should also not be currently residing in Colombia.
3- The age should not be over 50 years.
4- Candidates should possess a professional or bachelor’s degree.
5- Candidates should have an excellent academic background and have an average grade of 4.0 out of 5.0 or its equivalent on the Colombian scale to be eligible for the scholarship.
6- Candidates must have obtained admission to at least one graduate program listed in the Catalog of Academic Offer for the General Call of 2025
7- All required documents must be sent physically to the ICETEX offices in Bogotá, specifically at Carrera 3 No 18-32.
8- Candidates are allowed to submit up to three letters of admission from the universities.
9- Copies of the required documents, whether authenticated or notarized, are accepted. Original documents are not required.
