QUARMEN, which stands for QUAntum Research Master Education Network, aims to prepare students for the forefront of the quantum revolution. The curriculum emphasizes key concepts and technologies essential for quantum devices and information systems. Scholarship Value/ Inclusions for Erasmus Mundus QUARMEN Scholarship
- Financial Support: Recipients will receive a monthly stipend of €1,400 for 24 months, totaling €33,600.
- Expense Coverage: The scholarship encompasses travel, visa, installation, and subsistence costs.
- Tuition Waiver: Scholarship holders are exempt from tuition fees, university enrollment charges, and international insurance fees.
- Additional Support: Students with special needs may receive extra financial contributions ranging from €3,000 to €60,000.
- Cultural and Social Activities: Participants have access to language courses, summer and winter schools, and various social events without additional costs.
Eligibility Criteria

Academic Background: Applicants should hold or be in the final year of a bachelor’s degree in Physics or a closely related field, such as physics engineering, or combined degrees in Computer Science & Physics or Mathematics & Physics.

Mobility Requirement: Students are required to study in at least two countries different from their country of residence.

Previous Scholarships: Candidates who have already received an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) scholarship are ineligible to apply.

Selection Process:
The selection is highly competitive, with approximately 20 Erasmus Mundus scholarships and 4 Paris-Saclay scholarships available annually. All applicants not selected for the Erasmus Mundus scholarship will automatically be considered for the Paris-Saclay scholarship and self-financed admissions.
