Scholarship Value/ Inclusions for IMU Breakout Graduate Fellowship Program 2024:

The IMU Breakout Graduate Fellowship Program provides a maximum value of USD 10,000 per year, covering:

Eligibility Criteria for IMU Breakout Graduate Fellowship Program 2024:

• Fellowship applications submitted by professional mathematicians, including retirees mentoring young students; preference for mentors who have guided the nominee
• Student eligibility:
  • Resident and citizen of a developing country
  • Pre-accepted for a doctoral program in a developing country’s university or research institution for the first academic year after selection or already enrolled in a developing country’s doctoral program
• No age limit for students
• Strong encouragement for nominating female students
• Fellowship granted annually, renewable based on satisfactory progress
• Fellowship concludes upon completion of the doctoral program or after four years, whichever is earlier.
