Taiwan ICDF Scholarship Program 2026
The International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) offers 32 academic programs under this scholarship. Students from many fields can apply, including Agriculture, Business Administration, International Studies, Health, Mechatronics and Automation Engineering, Electric Power Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Disaster Management, Pharmacy, Arts and Creative Industries, Educational Leadership, Tourism and Hospitality, and Urban Governance.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be citizens of a country eligible for the TaiwanICDF Scholarship and must also meet any extra requirements set by their own government.
- They must not be citizens of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and cannot apply as overseas compatriot students.
- They must meet the admission criteria of the partner university they choose under the TaiwanICDF Scholarship.
- They must satisfy all visa rules for the Resident Visa (Code: FS) and the Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) as required by Taiwan’s government. If they fail to meet these visa conditions, the scholarship can be canceled.
- They cannot receive any other Taiwan government-funded scholarship, such as the Taiwan Scholarship, during the same academic year.
- They cannot apply for the scholarship in consecutive years. Former recipients of TaiwanICDF, MOFA, or MOE scholarships must have completed their previous program by July 31, 2025, to apply for the 2026 intake.
- They must submit their highest-level diploma by July 31, 2026. If they cannot provide it by that date, they will need to apply in the next scholarship cycle.
- Applicants must not have had any scholarship cancelled by Taiwan’s government or related organizations, and they must not have been expelled from any university in Taiwan.
