The METI Government of Japan Internship 2025 is a fully funded opportunity for international students to gain hands-on experience and training in Japanese companies. This internship is offered by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), providing undergraduate and graduate students from OECD/DAC countries to do internship in Japan. For METI internship, no IELTS is required, and there is no application fee. In 2025, METI will select 100 interns to be placed in various host companies across Japan for a six-week internship. Selected candidates will be matched with companies that align with their skills and interests. This is considered one of the top internship opportunities available in Japan.

This year, METI Government of Japan Internship will further support long-term employment and settlement by providing job-matching assistance after the internship, along with Japanese language training for participants.

Training for Interns:

Eligibility Criteria
